King: You're quite the rude guest, entering unannounced. But I'd expect nothing better from a filthy thieving imposter.
Jack: The name's Jack, King, and you're the imposter! You pose as a noble and righteous king, but you failed to have your men step in and save my village from Nunn's attack! And to make matters worse you set this city on fire!
King: You know of Nunn's name?! Then the Mage...!
Jack: Didn't tell me as much as I'd like, but I know you're working with that wretched dragon! You're the one who set this city ablaze! Now I see the truth; you didn't just sit idly by as Nunn destroyed my village; you ordered the attack!
King: That's correct! But I'll not have you vilify your king! It is the sacred duty of the king to protect the order of his kingdom, and your village grew too powerful! I saw your townspeople's prosperity, and the arrogance which came with it! They plotted to overthrow my reign, established by the Divine! I sent Nunn to preserve order, and I'm doing the same by this city!
Jack: You're mad!! You can't preserve order by causing destruction! I once wanted you dead just for the sake of revenge, but now I want you dead because someone's got to put a stop to your madness!! Call your dragon!
King: A fool's request, but I will grant you your end.
(Nunn appears)
Nunn (via telepathic communication, faintly): Child of prophecy! Jack!
Jack: What is this? Who is speaking with me?
King: Has the imposter gone insane from fear in Nunn's presence? Or is he finally adopting the role of a jester?
Nunn: Jack! It is I! Nunn! You must listen to me!
Jack: How can this be? A talking dragon?
Nunn: Only you can hear me, Jack! I'm speaking from within your mind. You must listen to me! The King has me under his control! He forced me to destroy your village against my will! He controls me with the medallion he wears around his neck!
King: Why should I believe you?
Nunn: You must trust me! I exist to serve the rightful king, but this King is evil, and sought to secretly command me to gain the trust of this kingdom. There is only one true and rightful king! Jack, that's you!
Jack: Me? You want me to be king?
Nunn: Even through all of your hardship, your heart is noble and true. I will willingly obey you, but you must stop this King! Take away his medallion and I am yours!
King: ENOUGH! I will not allow this nonsense to continue! Nunn: destroy him!!
Nunn: You...must...hurry...losing control...
Jack: Don't worry Nunn, I'll save you and this city! King, what rotten scum you are! You'll pay for this!
King: Now, now, you've no time to prattle on with me; you've got a dragon to contend with. It looks as though I will finally get my entertainment from the local jester!
