Knight: Halt, knave!!
Jack: It’s about time you stopped hiding.
Knight: You detected my presence?!
Jack: You’re wearing bright pink clanking armor riding atop
a llama that leave a trail of drool! I’d have to be blind and deaf not to know
you were coming!
Knight: It matters not! Prepare to taste my blade, vile
fiend!
Jack: You don’t have a clue what you’re doing, do you? The
King would be better off with one of those guards I took down than you to
protect him!
Knight: You mean the guards that you murdered! And on top of
that, you dare judge by my appearance?! I am the King’s strongest soldier!
Jack: I didn’t murder those guards; they’ve just been
knocked unconscious by my trusty boomerang. I only want the heads of the King
and that dragon!
Knight: What brings a lowly peasant such as you to stoop to
such trickery and dare assault the King?
Jack: I’m killing the King to avenge my village and my
family that the dragon killed ten years ago! The King had the power to send his
men to stop the destruction the dragon caused! I know because after it burned
down the village, I fled into the city and lived there ever since! The King has
jurisdiction over this city just as he does his castle, which is barely a stone’s
throw from here! The people of the city cried out to the King for help, and he
did nothing! He and that dragon must die!
Knight: This is preposterous! What makes you think that the
King and the dragon were connected at all! The first time I’ve ever seen this
dragon was today, and I’ve served the King for 8 years!
Jack: He rode off on the same dragon that we saw today! They’re
working together! And if you won’t see this, then I’ll have to take you down
too!
Knight: A wretched thief and fiend to the end! Say hello to
the Divine as you taste my blade!
